PM Laptop Scheme In the past, the schemes were implemented by the Higher Education Commission. PMNL was the implementing agency for the program under Scheme II of the Higher Education Commission.
Around five lakh laptops were made public through a transparent online system. It has been successfully distributed among universities and technical colleges of the sector including federal and FATA colleges. Free Laptop New September Update
At the beginning of September, it is being told that free laptops will be distributed to those students who are eligible for free laptop distribution. However they have not received the laptop yet, so their date is being told that according to the update of September, they will get the laptop between the 1st and 10th of September.
If you are already eligible in this program then you also have to check your eligibility along with your registration in the program.
Note that the September update is very mandatory, meaning post-mortem that those who would have been eligible did not receive the laptop. So they will not be able to get the laptop next time so complete your registration by September and get the laptop.

PM Youth Laptop Scheme Phase-III
The Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan has announced that the government will provide laptops to talented students. The purpose of this project is to provide laptops to the youth and talented students studying in the government sector of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country and in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
This project has been approved by ECNIC as Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme Phase-III. In this regard, one lakh laptops will be given to meritorious students through an online transparent system. Two such schemes have been run successfully in the past.
Objectives
- Bringing improvement in the quality of science and technology education, including ICT.
- Developing partnerships between industries and their education & training providers.
- Enabling smart campuses to facilitate instant networking and an improved learning environment.
- Boost productivity and value addition in the manufacturing sector.
- To ensure the potential of IT is fully used for benefiting the education sector.
- Increase productivity and efficiency by providing advanced IT technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must have a valid CNIC/ B-Form number.
- Students enrolled in PhD/ MS/ MPhil or equivalent 18-year program.
- Students enrolled in a 4-year or 5-year bachelor’s degree program (morning and evening).
- Students enrolled in MBA Program (3.5 years, 2.5 years, and 1.5 years).
